Youth Climbing Team

Off the street, onto the wall

The Front Youth Climbing Team is designed for climbers, ages 8-18 years old, wanting to improve on their climbing skills and take their climbing to the next level. The Team is split into Competitive and Recreational tracks.

The Competitive Track emphasizes technique, strength, training, and strategy for significant increases in climbing ability. The Competitive Track travels and participates in climbing competitions.

The Recreational Track puts a similar emphasis on climbing skill improvement, but to a lesser extent and in a more recreational and social atmosphere. Most climbers on the Recreation Track will not travel to competitions, though they may choose to do so.

Placement on either track is based essentially on the climber’s interest and commitment level.

The Climbing Team participates in the ABS and SCS climbing leagues of USAC. For more information on the ABS, click »here.

When

The Competitive Team meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30p to 6:30p, and Wednesdays from 4:30p to 5:30p.

The Recreational Team meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30p to 6:30p.

Cost

Competitive Team is $150/month with membership.

Recreational Team is $120/month with membership.

Tuition includes exceptional coaching and instruction, as well as all equipment needed. Payments are made automatically and any team member can choose to cancel their involvement any time prior to their next bill date. Involvement on The Team is only for members of The Front.
